Admission

The candidates have to apply on the prescribed performs included in the prospectus which can be obtained from the school against cash payment from the Accountants Office or by money order or bank draft payable to SOS Nursing School, Payable at Faridabad. Admission form can also download from our website – www.sosnursingschoolanangpur.org The session commences from September/ October.


Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

The school guarantees admission the candidates from SOS Children’ s Villages if they full fill at the criteria laid down for the admission

A. For General Nursing & Midwifery

  • Passed senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with science/ Arts Subject from a recognized Board/ University. Preference will be given to Science Subjects.
  • Minimum 45% marks in aggregate preferably with science.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to Sc/ ST/ BC / Children of deceased / disabled and discharged military personal or Ex-servicemen.
  • Hindi up to 10th standard and English up to 10+2 is compulsory.
  • Age not less than 17 years & more 35 years on the date of admission.
  • Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Widow/ Divorcee without encumbrances can also apply
  • Physically handicapped are not eligible.
  • Relaxation for 10+2 vocational ANM as consultation with HNRC/ DMER.
  • Student shall be medically fit.

B. Auxilliary Nurse Midwife

  • Passed (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board / University pass.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to Sc/ ST/ BC / Children of deceased / disabled and discharged military personal or Ex-servicemen.
  • Hindi + English up to 10th standard is compulsory.
  • Physical handicapped are not eligible.
  • Married candidates are also eligible but should not be pregnant at the time of admission or during the training courses.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Age not less than 17 years & more 35 years on the date of admission.

The admission form in the prospectus must be filled by the candidate in her own handwriting and must attach the copies of all required documents.

Following documents with application form, must be attested by Gazetted Officer:

1. (a) DOB and 10+2 Certification with Marksheet for ANM ( 06 Copies) each.
(b) DOB and 10+2 Certification with Marksheet for ANM ( 06 Copies) each.
2. Documentary proof of SC/ ST/BC etc. duly certified by Gazetted Officer (07 Copies)
3. Latest passport size photographs (08 Copies)
4. Medical Fitness certificate from an regd. MBBS doctor.
5. Affidavit by parents/ Guardian for meeting all financial obligation of the candidate during the training period and that too in time.
6. Self addressed envelope with a six rupees stamp affixed on it.
7. Character certificate from the school last attended.
8. Copy of Aadhar car attested.

Note:
o Original certificates must be brought at the time of interview
o Incomplete applications forms will not be considered for interview
o Eligible candidate will be called of Entrance Exam and interview on the date given by DMER/ HNRC to appear before a Board Constituted for this purpose & the selection will be made purely on merit basis, interview and entrance exam.
o The decision of the selection Board will be final.
o The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice Board of the Institute.
o Any student who fails to join on the prescribed date will lose set which will be offered to the next candidate of the waiting list.
o If at any level the certificate/ affidavit submitted by the candidate is found false she will be expelled from the training and will be liable to legal action.
o If the student leaves the training at her own will have to deposit tution fee for the entire course. If she is expelled from the training due to any fault/ reason submitting etc. Then her case under section 420 will be sent to police.
